Oats Handvo ( Famous Gujrati snack( with some twist) cooked with oats , sooji and vegetables )

Ingredients For Batter:

Oats,   Crushed – 1 /2 cup ( 8 Tablespoons)
Semolina ( Sooji) – 1 /2 cup ( 8 Tablespoons)
Besan ( gram flour)  –  6 Tablespoons
Lauki (bottle gourd),grated – 4 Tablespoons
Carrot , grated – 4 Tablespoons
Cabbage , grated – 2 Tablespoons
Spinach , finely chopped – 2 Tablespoons
Capsicum , Finely chopped – 2 Tablespoons
Ginger paste – 1 Tablespoons
Garlic paste – 2 Tablespoons
Green Chilli , Chopped – 1 Tablespoon
Curd ( yogurt ) – 1 Cup
Turmeric Powder – 1 / 2 teaspoon
Red Chilli powder – 1 Teaspoon
Salt to taste
Pepper Powder – 1 / 2 teaspoon
Sugar – 1 Teaspoon
Baking Powder – 1 / 2 Teaspoon
Fruit Salt – 1 / 4 teaspoon
Water – as required
Ingredients for Tempering :
Oil – 2 to 3 Tablespoons
Sesame Seeds – 1 Tablespoon
Onion seeds – 1 Teaspoon
Mustard Seeds – 1 Tablespoon
Method :
Take one bowl , add all the ingredients for batter , make thick batter.

Heat oil in kadai , add mustard seeds , onion seeds , sesame seeds , pour 2 ladleful batter and cover with lid for 5 to 7 minutes or till brown .  flip the side and again cover with lid and cook for 5 to 7 minutes  on slow flame . do same process  with remaining batter make 3 to 4 mini handvo.   let it cool for 2 to 3 minutes and cut it , serve with green chutney .
