Potato carrot sandwich

Preparation time – ½ hour
Cooking time – 10 to 12 minutes
Serving – 4 sandwiches

Brown bread – 6 to 8
Potato, boiled, peeled, mashed – 1 cup
Carrot, grated – ½ cup
Onion, chopped – 1 medium
Green peas, boiled – ¼ cup
Oil – 2 tablespoons
Cumin seeds – ¼ Teaspoon
Green chilly, chopped – 1
Pepper powder – ½ Teaspoon
Chaat masala – ½ Teaspoon
Salt to taste
Butter – 1 to 2 Tablespoons

Heat oil in kadai, add cumin seeds, let them crackle.

Add green chilly, mashed potatoes, carrot, green peas, onion, mix well.

Add pepper powder, salt, chaat masala and mix well.

Take one bread slice, apply sufficient stuffing, arrange other slice of bread and press well.

Heat tawa, apply some butter on tawa, toast them till evenly golden on both side.

Cut each sandwich into 2 pieces and serve hot with hot and spicy catch up.
