Ingredients:
Kale chane(black chickpea), boiled – ½ cup
Brown rice, boiled – ½ cup
Oil – 2 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds – ½ Teaspoon
Hing(asafoetida) – ¼ Teaspoon
Curry leaves – 4 to 5
Onion, finely chopped – 1 Medium
Green chilly, chopped – 1
Garlic paste – 1 Tablespoon
Ginger paste – 1 Teaspoon
Amchur(dry mango)powder – ½ Teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 Teaspoon
Cumin powder – 1 Teaspoon
Red chilly powder – ½ Teaspoon
Salt to taste
Birsto( fried onion) – 2 Tablespoons
Fresh coriander spring – 10
Method:
Heat oil in pan, add cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chiily, hing and mix well.
Add chopped onion, ginger paste, garlic paste, cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilly powder, salt and mix well.
Add boiled kale chane, brown rice and mix well. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add Birsto(fried onion) and mix well.
Garnish with Birsto(fried onion) and fresh coriander spring and serve hot.
