Panch Phoran Moong Dal Fry

Serving – 2

Ingredients:
Yellow Moong dal ( golden gram) – 6 Tablespoons
Oil – 2 Tablespoons
Cumin Seeds – 1 / 2 Teaspoon
Mustard Seeds -1 /2 Teaspoon
Onion Seeds ( Kalonji ) – 1 /2 Teaspoon
Fennel Seeds – 1 / 2 Teaspoon
Fenugreek Seeds – 1 / 2 Teaspoon
Hing – 1 /4 Teaspoon
Curry Leaves – 4 to 5
Ginger Paste – 1   Teaspoon
Garlic Paste – 2 Teaspoon
Tomato , Chopped – 1 Medium
Salt To taste
Red Chilli powder – 1 / 2 Teaspoon
Garam Masala – 1 / 2 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder – 1 / 2 Teaspoon
Lemon juice – 1 Tablespoon

Method:
Soak yellow moong dal for 1 hour, presser cook with 1 cup of water for 4 to 5 whistle or till soft. let it cool down.

Heat oil in kadai, add  mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, onion seeds, fennel seeds. Add hing, curry leaves, tomato and mix well. add ginger paste, garlic paste and saute till tomato become soft.

Add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder and mix well.

Add Boiled dal and mix wel . cook for 3 to 4 minutes. add lemon juice and mix well.

Serve hot with rice or roti or rice.
