Soya Peas Paneer Pulao

Preparation time – 10 minutes
Cooking time – 20 to 25 minutes
Serving – 2

Rice, soaked – ½ cup
Oil – 2 Tablespoons
Cumin seeds – 1 Teaspoon
Hing(Asafoetida) – ¼ Teaspoon
Black Pepper, whole – 3 to 4
Cloves – 3 to 4
Potato, peeled, chopped – 1 small
Onion, chopped – 2 medium
Carrot, chopped – ¼ cup
Peas – ¼ cup
Soya chunks, boiled – ½ cup
Curd – 3 Tablespoons
Salt to taste
Red chilly powder – ½ Teaspoon
Pau bhaji masala – 1 Teaspoon
Water – 1 cup

Ingredients For paneer bolls:
Home made Paneer, mashed – ½ cup
Salt to taste
Pepper powder – ¼ Teaspoon

Wash and soak rice for ½ hour.

Heat 1 cup of water, boil soya chunks for 5 minutes. Remove excess water and keep aside.

Heat oil in kadai, add cumin seeds, let them splutter. Add pepper and cloves, hing, potatoes, carrots, onion, mix well. sauté till potatoes soft.

Add boiled soya chunks, peas and mix well.

Add salt, red chilly powder, pau bhaji masala, soaked rice and mix well. Add 1 cup of water, mix well. cover kadai with lid and cook for 7 to 10 minutes or till rice cooked.

Take one plate, mix paneer, salt, pepper powder very well. Divide into 5 to 6 portions and shape them like small balls.

Take serving plate, arrange pulao and arrange paneer balls over them. Sprinkle some red chilly powder on paneer balls. 

Serve hot with curd.

Tip : i have make paneer balls using homemade crumbled paneer. you can add paneer pieces instead of paneer balls.
