Ingredients:
Daliya (broken wheat), soaked – ½
Oil – 1 Tablespoon
Salt to taste
Pepper powder – ¼ Teaspoon
Roasted cumin powder – ¼ Teaspoon
Lemon juice – 1 Tablespoon
Onion, chopped – 1 medium
Green peas – ¼ cup
Carrot, grated – ½ cup
Water – 1 ½ cup
Method:
Wash and Soak Daliya with 1 cup of water for 1 hour.
Heat oil in kadai, add onion, grated carrot, peas and mix well, cook for 2 minutes.
Add soaked Daliya and salt, pepper powder, roasted cumin powder, Mix well. Add 1 ½ cup water. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes or till daliya cook.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Serve hot.
