Preparation time – 15 minutes
Cooking time – 20 to 25 minutes
Ingredients:
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Asafoetida/ hing – ½ Teaspoon
Turmeric powder – ½ Teaspoon
Red chilli powder – 1 Teaspoon
Salt to taste
Fresh fenugreek leaves – ¼ cup
Curd – 2 Tablespoons
Oil – 2 Tablespoons
Baking powder – ¼ Teaspoon
Water – as required
Method:
Mix all dry ingredients well, add required water and knead semi hard dough. Rest it for 10 minutes.
Divide dough into 3 to 4 equal parts.
Roll out each portion into 4 to 5 inch diameter. Cut into 1 inch wide and 4 inch long strips.
Prick all of them with fork. Apply some oil with the use of brush.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180c for 20 to 25 minutes or till the sticks are golden brown.
Let it cool down.
Store in an air-tight container.
Note: I have Samsung convection Microwave. Baking time may differ as different brands.
