Make this lovely Paratha stuffed with onion. This is unique in it’s own way. Serve with your favourite katch up, chutney or curd
Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cooking Time : 10 – 12 minutes
Ingredients:
Wheat Flour : 2 cups
Oil : 2tbsp
Salth to taste
Water as required
Onions : 4 medium sized
Red Chilli Powder
Ghee / Butter
Recipe:
- Take one bowl to mix
- Add 2 cups of wheat flour
- Add 2 tbsp of oil
- Add salt to taste and mix
- Mix well to make semi soft dough
- Keep adding required water
- When dough is ready, keep it aside for the rest for about 30 mins
- Finely chop onions
- Take dough and add a bit of oil, mix well
- Make dough balls of medium sizes
- Sprinkle or roll dough ball into the flour
- Roll the dough ball
- Add some finely chopped onions in the center of rolled dough
- Add red chilli powder and salt to taste
- Fold it with four sides
- Keep rolling by flipping slides
- Take a pan now and keep it on medium flame
- Put paratha on pan and cook it till it starts turning golden brown
- Add some ghee or butter or oil as you prefer
- Cook it on medium flame till it turns golden brown
- Add some more ghee to make it more crisp. (optional)
- When prepared, serve hot with your favorite chutney, ketchup or curd
