Paneer Makhani

Enjoy this creamy luscious paneer recipe. A little on a sweeter side

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Cooking Time: 30 Minutes


Paneer – 200 grams

Garlic Cloves – 15 to 17 pieces

Cashew Nuts (Kaju) 18- 20 pieces

Cardamom – 2 pieces

Tomatoes (big) – 4 nos

Red chilli powder

Salte to taste

Butter 50 grams

Garam Masala

Kasuri Methi

Cream (optional)


  1. Take a pan and add an oil
  2. Add garlic cloves and cashew nuts
  3. Saute well
  4. Add 2 pieces of cardamom (ilaichi) and mix well
  5. Add 4 big tomatoes cut into small pieces
  6. Add red chilli powder and salt to taste
  7. Add butter (30 grams) and mix well
  8. add 250 ml water.
  9. Bring it to boil for about 12-15 minutes
  10. Now add the mixture into a processing jar and mix it till it forms smooth paste
  11. Pour mixture in the strainer and strain it completely
  12. We will have smooth texture
  13. Turn on the gas and add gravy into a pan on medium flame
  14. Add garam masala and kasuri methi
  15. Add another 20 grams of butter (optional)
  16. Add paneer (fresh and raw taste best) cut into small pieces
  17. Add some more kasuri methi for final touch
  18. You can also add cream at this stage if you like
  19. Serve Hot
