Onion Paratha

Make this lovely Paratha stuffed with onion. This is unique in it’s own way. Serve with your favourite katch up, chutney or curd

Preparation Time : 15 minutes

Cooking Time : 10 – 12 minutes

Ingredients:

Wheat Flour : 2 cups

Oil : 2tbsp

Salth to taste

Water as required

Onions : 4 medium sized

Red Chilli Powder

Ghee / Butter

Recipe:

  1. Take one bowl to mix
  2. Add 2 cups of wheat flour
  3. Add 2 tbsp of oil
  4. Add salt to taste and mix
  5. Mix well to make semi soft dough
  6. Keep adding required water
  7. When dough is ready, keep it aside for the rest for about 30 mins
  8. Finely chop onions
  9. Take dough and add a bit of oil, mix well
  10. Make dough balls of medium sizes
  11. Sprinkle or roll dough ball into the flour
  12. Roll the dough ball
  13. Add some finely chopped onions in the center of rolled dough
  14. Add red chilli powder and salt to taste
  15. Fold it with four sides
  16. Keep rolling by flipping slides
  17. Take a pan now and keep it on medium flame
  18. Put paratha on pan and cook it till it starts turning golden brown
  19. Add some ghee or butter or oil as you prefer
  20. Cook it on medium flame till it turns golden brown
  21. Add some more ghee to make it more crisp. (optional)
  22. When prepared, serve hot with your favorite chutney, ketchup or curd

Add some chaat masala in stuffing
